03-09.10.2011 ►Indonesia BANDUNG 2011


To published the 4rd series of Special Edition Pack: Traditional Textile of Indonesia Part Three, a Philatelic Exhibition held at Bandung City for 7 days. The name of the event is BANDUNG STAMP & NUMISMATIC SHOW 2011. These are daily covers with special date daily chops all on Batik Papua Province Stamp.


Welcoming the World Philatelic Exhibition " INDONESIA 2012 " at Jakarta next year, Pos Indonesia issue 7 series of Special Edition Pack. This 4rd series is Traditional Textile of Indonesia Part Three Special Edition Pack, printed 5000 set with serial number and certificate of authenticity. Consist of 3 souvenir sheets, both perforated and imperforated. To accommodate the need of covers, Jakarta Philatelic Office issued the blank cover so philatelists can make their own covers from Special Edition Pack as shown above.


Bottom left is the Official Commemorative Cover of Bandung Stamp & Numismatic Show 2011 with Traditional Textile of Indonesia Part Three Souvenir Sheet #1 wich picture shown is Tari Topeng Cirebon( Cirebon Mask Dance ) and Batik Mega Mendung, bottom right is Unofficial Commemorative Cover of Bandung Stamp & Numismatic Show 2011 with set of 8 batik stamps from Souvenir Sheet #2. Above is a cover with Traditional Textile of Indonesia Part Three Souvenir Sheet #1 sent with Domestic Registered Mail.

01.10.2011 ►Jakarta Filateli Award 2011

On Oct 1st, Jakarta Philatelic Office held The Jakarta Filateli Award 2011 at Indonesia Philatelic Museum, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.  On place also held the exhibition from national figures philatelists.  These covers issued by Jakarta Philatelic Office and made only 265 set that consist 4 covers/set . I managed to get the Indonesia Philatelic Museum Registered date and service chop on my covers.


I also invited to the event, in the invitation they put in a minisheet. And I got some goodies with a lot of philatelic stuff on place such year book set, stamp pack, presentation pack,  notes, pen, etc. After the event they sent me a fullsheet of personalized stamp with Jakarta Philatelic Office Head Master signature. I manage to make the bottom right cover with my personalized stamp on it :)

27.09.2011 ►Indonesian Landmark 2011 Series

These Landmark series consist 5 stamps representing 5 landmark of 5 Indonesia's Province. There are: 1/5 Ampera Bridge at Palembang City, South Sumatera Province; 2/5 Lawang Sewu Building at Semarang City, Central Java Province; 3/5 Equator Monument at Pontianak City, West Kalimantan Province; 4/5 Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park at Denpasar City, Bali Province and last 5/5 Fort Rotterdam at Makasar City, South Sulawesi.

Bottom right is the Official First Day Cover of Indonesian Landmark 2011 Series, however some information said that this issue will be continue for the rest of 33 Indonesia Province, so I made these 5 unofficial covers and maxi card with single stamp and hope will continue to complete until all 33 province.

26.08.2011 ►Indonesian Postal Service 265th Anniversary

Celebrating it's 265th anniversary, Pos Indonesia issued this Commemorative Cover on 26.08.2011. This cover use 2008 Stamps Issue: "200 Years of The Great Post Road" with 4 stamps per set. These Commemorative Cover printed 2000 piece. Because there is 4 stamps per set, that makes only 500 set of these Commemorative Cover.

17.08.2011 ►Indonesian Prominent People

Celebrating Indonesia  Independence Day, Indonesian Prominent People stamp is published. The set of stamps consist of 2 stamp, 1/2 with Mohammad Natsir picture and 2/2 with Bung Tomo picture. 


Bottom left is the First Day Cover, above it Set of Stamps on Cover sent with Domestic Registered Mail. Top and bottom right is the Maximum Card.

The picture on stamps in this series featured artwork from the winner of Indonesia Stamp Design Contest 2010, 1/3 Winner from class A category: Ermambang Bendung Wijaya, 2/3 Winner from class B category: Lona Raditya Soedarsono, 3/3 Winner from class C category : Olivia Valentine Amalia

The Indonesia - Malaysia Joint Issue consist of 8 stamps per set. The picture on stamps are: 1/8 Indonesia Proclamation Monument, 2/8 Indonesia First Currency ORI Banknote, 3/8 Surakarta Military Stamp, 4/8 Green Jungle Fowl, 5/8 Malaysia's National Monument, 6/8 Malaysia's First Currency Issued After Merdeka, 7/8 Malaysia's First Stamp Issued After Merdeka and 8/8 Red Jungle Fowl. 


The cover above printed to accommodate the need of having both country stamps on the same cover.

22.06.2011 ►Indonesia Fish Consumption Movement Campaign

Fish Consumption Movement is Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Campaign that published for Definitive Stamp Issue Program. Consist of 4 stamps each as independent Fullsheet and Minisheet that printed 40.000 piece wich 21.000 is taken by Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries for their campaign purpose.


Left is the Official First Day Cover, and top right is Unofficial Integrated Cover, and the bottom right is Unofficial Cover with Minisheet.
