30.03-03.04.2011 ►Indonesia JOGJA 2011


To published the 2nd series of Special Edition Pack: Traditional Textile of Indonesia Part One , a Philatelic Exhibition held at Yogyakarta for 5 days. The name of the event is JOGJA 2011.These are daily covers with special date daily chops all on Batik Yogyakarta Stamp.


 Welcoming the World Philatelic Exhibition " INDONESIA 2012 " at Jakarta next year, Pos Indonesia issue 7 series of Special Edition Pack. This 2nd series is Traditional Textile of Indonesia Part One Special Edition Pack, printed 5000 set with serial number and certificate of authenticity. Consist of 3 souvenir sheets, both perforated and imperforated. To accommodate the need of covers, Jakarta Philatelic Office issued the blank cover so philatelists can make their own covers from Special Edition Pack as shown above.

16.03.2011 ►Singapore 100 Years Aviation

2011 marks a centennial of aviation in Singapore. Singapore saw her first aircraft, piloted by Mr. Joseph Christiaens, tke off from the racecourse in Farrer Park on 16 March 1911 and that marked the start of aviation in Singapore.
